Dear Ed, This letter is sent as a reference regarding your work in construction of my offices at the Laurel Medical Arts Pavilion.  The office space was over 4,000 square feet, contracted through Donohue Construction.  You are the subcontractor responsible for all the suites in the 70,000 square foot Medical Building.

The cabinetry that your firm uses, the Techline Cabinetry, was chosen after comparison of other cabinetry products as the best that met our criteria for high quality and cost effective usage.  We certainly have been pleased with the functioning and physical appearance of the Techline Cabinetry.

As part of your services, you met with me, as you met with every physician in the group, to go over specific needs of cabinetry.  A considerable amount of time and care was spent deciding how the cabinetry should be utilized and placed.  Your involvement was extraordinarily helpful to me and the architect in the case work and individual selection.

The personal attention and patience you showed in the construction of my suites was outstanding and among the contractors in the building, you alone had a superb reputation for reliability, honesty, and good humor.

Your work was certainly appreciated in our office construction.  In addition, due to the performance, you were asked to do cabinetry in my wife’s home office which was also done with careful attention to detail and functionality.

Dear Ed, It’s often easy to criticize a contractor for a variety of reasons that occur during the construction of a house.  It should be just as easy to compliment a contractor when he has performed an outstanding job.
